Article 2: Registration

The person registering shall guarantee the accuracy of the information provided with their registration.

The organisation shall register the data obtained from the person registering in records kept for this purpose. With the registration, the registering person and/or participant have given permission for the use and storage of data.

Registrations that cannot be accepted immediately due to lack of space can be placed on a waiting list.

The organisation reserves the right to refuse the registration for its own reasons. In addition, the organisation reserves the right to grant priority to members of the NABV upon acceptance of the registration.

If the organisation refuses registration, any (advance) payments will be refunded and the registration fee will also be refunded.

Article 3: Payment

Payment of the registration fee and for any additional products can only be paid via the payment methods offered in the webshop. The registration fee must be paid no later than 8 weeks before the start of the event.

If the registration fee is not paid within the aforementioned period, the Organization reserves the right to cancel the registration and give the place to a registration on the waiting list.

Article 4: Cancellation

The participant has the right to terminate the registration free of charge during the cancellation period, which is 21 days after payment. The registration can be cancelled within the cancellation period by sending an e-mail to the organisation via the e-mail address dutchopen@nabv.nl.

After the cancellation period, the registration can only be terminated with payment of a cancellation fee.

In the event of cancellation after the cancellation period, the following fees apply:

  • Cancellation before 1 September: 25% of the registration fee;
  • Cancellation between 1 September and 1 October: 50% of the registration fee;
  • Cancellation between October 1 and November 1: 75% of the registration fee;
  • Cancellation after November 1: 100% of the registration fee.

If any additional products (for example, lunch, dinner or other products) have been ordered during registration, the same rights and obligations apply as for the registration fee, with the exception of customised products (such as shirts).

For customised products, a fee of 100% applies, regardless of the time of cancellation, if cancellation falls outside the cancellation period.

Dinner for the participant is included in the registration fee. The participant will receive a personal admission ticket for this. This admission ticket is personal and may not be used by anyone other than the participant.

If the event does not take place, any payments the participant has made to the organisation will be refunded. This refund will take place within 60 days of the organisation’s announcement of the decision to cancel the event.

Article 5: Other provisions

These terms of payment and all legal relationships that may arise between the organisation on the one hand and the participant and/or tenderer on the other are governed exclusively by Dutch law.

In any cases that are not covered by these terms of payment or which are considered to be unclear, the organisation makes a decision.

These terms of payment are also drawn up in the English language. The Dutch text of these terms of payment takes precedence (in the event of apparent inconsistencies or ambiguities).
